The Apollo Hospitals Group will be launching the first Apollo Reach Hospital in the country at Karimnagar in Andhra Pradesh.
The 150-bedded hospital, equipped with equipment including flat panel cath lab, ultra-modern operation theatres, ICUs and MRI, will be inaugurated by chief minister Y S Rajashekara Reddy tomorrow (September 19).
Apollo Reach Hospitals has been conceived by the Apollo Hospitals Group to bridge the existing rural-urban gap in access to quality healthcare and reach tertiary healthcare to the hitherto un-treaded semi-urban and rural areas.
The group is in the process of rolling out 25 Apollo Reach Hospitals across the country in the next 18 months, according to a press release on Thursday.
