Apparel firm plans five more outlets

In order to promote cotton products, TCNS Clothing Company will open five more retail outlets of brands for women in Punjab.
 
The company is aiming at a turnover of Rs 30 crore by the end of this financial year. It started the brand 'W' exclusively for women three years ago. At the same time it aims to expand and consolidate its presence across the country, targeting 160 points of operation this year. The company will invest Rs 1 crore in the region in the upcoming outlets of Amritsar, Jalandhar, etc.
 
Speaking to Business Standard, the CEO, TCNS Clothing Company Pvt Ltd, Vijay K Mishra, said, "Our USP is ladies clothing. We will be coming up with more retail outlets in the region."
 
The average investment for an outlet is between Rs 10 lakh and 15 lakh. Over time, people have started shifting from synthetic cloths to cotton, he said. "Earlier, such clothes were always preferred for their low cost, and long lasting nature. Today's women have evolved, and want to experiment with new sophisticated forms of fashion," Mishra said.
 
The new exclusive store in Ludhiana is in synergy with the brands vision to emerge as a singular identity for the new-age Indian woman across regions. "We want to strengthen our presence here in the Punjab market," he said
 
The Ludhiana launch offers a great opportunity to tap the market potential. "We are committed to respond to the demand. With this we are enhancing our access to the target audience."
 
The newly launched 'W' exclusive store here will showcase the entire collection of innovative designs in multiple fabrics, straddled across a broad price range, with kurtas starting from Rs 499, Churidars from Rs 350, tops from Rs 399 and trousers from Rs 999 in the day wear.
