Philadelphia-based AppLabs, an independent software testing quality management company with its global delivery centre in Hyderabad, has taken a new facility at DLF’s special economic zone in the city. “We now have a seating capacity of 2,000 at DLF. This will primarily house our enterprise customers and provide the secure facilities that they expect from their vendors,” Sashi Reddi, founder and chief executive of AppLabs, stated in a press release on Wednesday. The over $100-million company employs a little over 2,000 globally, of which 1,650 work out of its existing centre in Hyderabad. Reddi had, in September 2010, told Business Standard that the debt-free company was expanding its presence in Hyderabad and was taking more space at the DLF SEZ at a cost of Rs 12 crore.
