Aptech, Gokaldas Exports & Gulf Oil Q2 results

Aptech back in the black in Q3
 
IT education services provider Aptech today reported a net profit of Rs 10.66 crore for the third quarter ended September 30, 2006, compared with a net loss of Rs 85 lakh during the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
 
The company registered 41 per cent growth in its global revenues to Rs 54.72 crore over Rs 38.68 crore in Q3 last year.
 
Gokaldas Exports net up 12%
 
Gokaldas Exports has reported 12.40 per cent rise in net profit for the second quarter (ended September 30) at Rs 20.79 crore against Rs 18.49 crore in Q2 FY06. The company's profit before tax stood at Rs 21.76 crore compared with Rs 18.98 crore last year.
 
Gulf Oil bottomline slumps 45%
 
Hinduja group company Gulf Oil Corporation reported 45 per cent fall in net profit at Rs 3.59 crore for the quarter ended September 30 compared with Rs 6.56 crore in the previous corresponding quarter.
 
However, the Hyderabad-based company's turnover for the quarter under review rose 48 per cent to Rs 163.75 crore against Rs 110.51 crore in Q2 FY06.
