Aptech to set up IT varsity in Chennai

 Information Technology (IT) training company Aptech Ltd has announced several new initiatives as a part of its plans to move up the value chain.

 The company is setting up a university and a college in Chennai and has tied-up with Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad to develop software for web-based education.

 The Aptech University, being set up under the aegis of the Aptech Education Society, will start colleges that offer training programmes in IT education, management and media studies. Aptech
