Aqua Mobiles' civil suit against Intex

A civil suit, registered in Oct 2013, was initiated by Aqua Mobiles against Intex Technologies for passing off products under the trademark 'Aqua'

Aqua Mobiles, promoted by Hong Kong-based Northern Lights Solutions, is seeking to restrain Intex Technologies from using the brand name ‘Aqua’.

A civil suit, registered in October 2013, was initiated by Aqua Mobiles against Intex Technologies for passing off products under the trademark ‘Aqua’. Govind Bansal, co-founder, Aqua Mobiles, said that the firm has neither in the past nor in the present had any marketing or technical collaboration with Intex Technologies.  

Aqua Mobiles claims that Intex has been using their brand name without any consent or approval. The matter is currently pending at the Delhi High Court.
