ARBL opens Amaron PitStop in Hyderabad

As part of its ongoing retail expansion in the state, Andhra Pradesh-based automotive battery major Amara Raja Batteries Limited (ARBL) has launched its exclusive outlet "� Amaron PitStop "� in Secunderabad.

The Amaron outlet will have a range of premium, zero-maintenance batteries for passenger cars, trucks and tractors. This is Amara Raja's 62nd PitStop in the country, G Indeevar, head (after market), said on Thursday.

As a value-added service at the PitStop, residents of Secunderabad would now be able to avail of the Amaron Anytime Number, whereby Amaron would service any stalled car through its helpline "� 96220 36036.

In keeping with the environmental norms, the retail outlet will also function as a collection centre for used batteries, Indeevar said.

ARBL, which has its manufacturing facility in Tirupati, supplies the Amaron range of batteries to Maruti Udyog, Ford, Daimler Chrysler, Swaraj Mazda, Ashok Leyland among others.
