Arch Pharmalabs, a leading global supplier of API (active pharmaceuticals ingredients) and intermediates, has received quality verification mark for a drug substance from US Pharmacopeia (USP) under the pharmaceutical ingredient verification program (PIVP) at their Gurgaon manufacturing facility.
The USP verification is for clopidogrel bisulfate, an API and Arch is one among the first Indian companies to get this quality certification from USP.
USP's PIVP is an independent third party verification to assure quality of the drug ingredients to address increasing concerns throughout the pharmaceutical industry about the quality and consistency of pharmaceutical ingredients.
“This USP verification mark signifies our commitment to the very stringent processes and quality standards we follow at Arch Pharmalabs. We have undergone rigorous and independent conformity assessments to receive this certification," said Ajit Kamath, chairman and managing director, Arch Pharmalabs.
