Greetings card maker Archies today reported 16.58 per cent jump in its net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, at Rs 4.57 crore.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 3.92 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year, Archies said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The total income during the third quarter of this fiscal also increased by 19.89 per cent to Rs 56.66 crore from Rs 47.26 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
The shares of the company today closed 0.67 per cent down at Rs 44.50 a piece on the BSE.
