Areva T&D India bags Rs 110 cr contract

Areva T&D India has secured a contract to set up a 400 kilo-volt sub-station in Kharagpur from the West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL).

The order is on a turnkey basis and includes major transmission and distribution equipment such as Large Power transformers, 400/320/200 breakers and an automation system with control and display panels. Areva T&D will undertake design, engineering, supply and erection work as part of the agreement.

The contract is valued at Rs 110 crore and the deadline for completion is 30 months.
