Bhubaneswar-based ARSS Infrastructure Projects today said it had bagged two orders worth Rs 233.57 crore.
The first order has been awarded by the Chief Engineer, Punjab PWD for the development, operation and maintenance of Ropar-Chamkaur Sahib-Neelon-Dorah on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis. The total order amount is Rs worth 220 crore, the company said in a statement issued here.
"The construction period for the order from the Punjab government is one and a half years. The concession period for the same is 15 years," it said.
The second order is for improvement to Boinda-Athmallik Road in Angul, Orissa under NABARD assistance worth Rs 13.53 crore. The work order has been awarded by Office of Executive Engineer, Angul R&B division, Orrisa, but dis not specify the duration of the project.
"This order in the state of Punjab reiterates the fact that ARSS Infra as a company is expanding its presence on a Pan-India basis.
The order from the Orissa government shows that in quest of becoming a national player ARSS hasn't overlooked the region from where the company started its operations and has a strong foothold in," ARSS President and CEO Sunil Agarwal said in the statement.
The total order book of the company is over Rs 5,000 crore, it said.
The company is engaged in activities like construction of railway infrastructure, roads, highways and bridges.
