Mahindra & Mahindra's Executive Director & President (Infrastructure Development Sector), Arun Nanda, has been elected as Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Western Region, for 2010-11.
Nanda was the Deputy Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Western Region, in 2009-10.
Currently, Nanda is the Chairman Emeritus of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce, a member of the advisory board for Asia-Pacific in Barco Co and member of the Governing Boards of the Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India and Bombay First, a press release issued here today said.
Nanda is currently on the Boards of several companies in various capacities.
He is the Chairman of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts, Owens Corning (I) Limited and Mahindra Consulting Engineers, Vice-Chairman of Mahindra Lifespace Developers and Mahindra World City Developers, the release said.
Praveen Toshniwal has also been elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Western Region, for 2010-11, it said.
