Arvind Brands rejigs portfolio

Arvind Brands has announced a reorganisation of its portfolio of brands. The two broad businesses of the company include the mass brands which comprise Newport, Excalibur, Ruf n Tuf and Flying Machine.
 
The premium brands portfolio is made up of comprising Arrow, Lee, Wrangler and Tommy Hilfiger.
 
The Rs 400 crore company has roped in J Suresh as COO of mass brands division. He will report to president Darshan Mehta.
 
Suresh joins Titan from MTR Foods after a three-year stint there. He brings with him about 17 years of experience.
 
A spokesperson for Arvind Brands said that a lot of energy is being built into the mass brands and they needed a strategic head to give direction and focus to their growth strategy.
 
Arvind Brands is also expected to launch its women wear label "" Arrow Woman, a formal extension for women of the established Arrow Brand.
