Wabtec Corporation, which has attracted one of the largest foreign direct investments in the railways sector amd whose manufacturing capacity in India has been growing, is planning to use India as a manufacturing hub for exports of diesel locomotives, electric components, and a host of other products. This was revealed by Pascal Schweitzer, the company’s Group President of freight global services.
