Asahi Songwon's net up by 287%

Asahi Songwon Colors Limited (ASCL), a Gujarat based company engaged in manufacturing of pigment has achieved a gross turnover of Rs 127 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2010 registering an increase of 11.70 per cent over the turnover of 2008-09.

Gokul Jaykrishna, joint managing director of the company said that the gross profit for the FY 2009-10 (PBDIT) amounted to Rs 15.42 crore compared to Rs 9.86 crore for the FY 2008-09, a rise by 56 per cent. The company registered profit after tax of the company for the fiscal 2010 at Rs 9.54 crore, an increase by 287 per cent from Rs 2.46 crore in FY 08-09.
