Ascendas draws up Rs 400-crore investment plans for India

 The company is also planning to also get into the Mumbai market and add close to a million sq ft in the city. It also plans to expand its existing facilities in Noida.  It is in plans to enable its Rs 140-crore new project in Chennai to have Wi-Fi connectivity. Construction on the new project spread over 5,00,000 sq ft (near Tidel Park) is expected to start in January 2004 and be completed by December 2004.  The company's two new projects in Chennai and Hyderabad are also expected to feature an industry first multi-level car parking.  Murari S Jagan, the CEO of Ascendas India Private Limited, told Business Standard,
