Ashok Leyland, ANG Auto ink deal for tractor-trailers

Ashok Leyland today entered into a strategic tie-up with ANG Auto Tech, a subsidiary of ANG Auto, for the manufacture and supply of tractor-trailers.

According to the agreement, ANG Auto is setting up a unit of 6,000 trailers per annum for Ashok Leyland at its Sitarganj plant in Uttaranchal. The unit is expected to be operational by October 2006.
