Chennai-based, India's second largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, Ashok Leyland has posted a dip of 2.46 per cent at 5,705 units in the April as against 5,849 units sold in the same month of the earlier year.
In the domestic market the company sold 5,549 units, which was up by 1.12 per cent when compared to 5,487 units. Exports, however, dipped to 156 units, down by 57 per cent from 362 units in the same month of the previous year.
