Hinduja Group's flagship firm Ashok Leyland today reported 65.98 per cent jump in July commercial vehicle sales at 6,747 units compared to the same month last year.
The company had sold 4,065 units in July last year, Ashok Leyland said in a statement.
Domestic sales stood at 6,022 units in July against 3,560 units in the same month last year, up 69.16 per cent, it added.
Exports increased by 43.56 per cent to 725 units in the month from 505 units in the year-ago period.
The company also reported a 80.60 per cent increase in total domestic sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles at 4,544 units from 2,516 units in the same month last year.
