Ashok Leyland October sales up by 17 %

Ashok Leyland has reported a 17 per cent growth in overall sales in October 2015 at 9,804 units as compared to 8,402 units, a year ago.

Medium and heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) sales were up by 22 per cent to 7,177 units in October 2015 from 5,865 units in October 2014.

Light commercial vehicles (LCV) sales were up by four per cent to 2,627 units from 2,537 units.

During April to October 2015, total sales rose by 40 per cent to 75,339 units from 53,721 units.

M&HCV sales rose by 50 per cent to 58,514 units from 38,980 units, a year ago. LCV sales rose by 14 per cent to 16,825 units from 14,741 units.
