Ashok Leyland Q1 net up 28% to Rs 88cr

Ashok Leyland has posted 28% increase in net profit at Rs 88.19 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 69.18 crore for Q1FY07.

Acccording to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income has increased to Rs 1628.69 crore for Q1FY08 from Rs 1437.76 crore for Q1FY07.
