Ashok Leyland Q1 net zooms 101%

Ashok Leyland today reported a 101% increase in net profit at Rs 64.35 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 as against Rs 31.94 crore in Q1FY05.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 1,066.58 crore in Q1FY06 from Rs 824.15 crore in Q1FY05.
