Ashok Leyland Q2 net jumps 74%

Ashok Leyland has registered a growth of 74.21% in net profit at
Rs 75 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 as against Rs 43.05 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2004.

According to a release issued by Ashok Leyland to the BSE today, total income increased 36.73% to Rs 1,267.08 crore in Q2FY06 as against
Rs 926.68 crore in Q2FY05.
