Ashok Leyland Q3 net up marginally

Ashok Leyland today reported a marginal growth of 1.6% in net profit at Rs 54.50 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 when compared with Rs 53.65 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2004.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE, total income increased 21.2% to Rs 1,204.04 crore in Q3FY06 as against Rs 993.35 crore in Q3FY05.
