Ashok Leyland reports Rs 25 cr loss in Q2

Total income has dropped 23% to Rs 2,573 cr

Ashok Leyland has reported a net loss of Rs 25 crore during the quarter ended September 30, 2013, as compared to net profit of Rs 142.5 crore, a year ago.

Total income has dropped to Rs 2,572.7 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 from Rs 3,343.3 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012, a drop of around 23%.

The company's stocks closed 4% lower on Wednesday at Rs 17.70 apiece.
