Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland today reported an over two-fold jump in commercial vehicle sales at 7,869 units in February compared to the same month last year.
The company had sold 3,245 units in the same month last year, Ashok Leyland said in a statement.
Domestic sales stood at 7,092 units in February against 2,669 units in the same month last year, an over two-fold rise, it added.
Exports increased by 34.90 per cent to 777 units in the month compared with 576 units in the year-ago period.
The company also reported an over two-fold increase in total domestic sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles at 6,985 units from 2,631 units in the same month last year.
