Ashoka Buildcon bags Rs 277 crore project from NHAI

The company is also in power transmission and distribution sector

Infrastructure firm Ashoka Buildcon today said it has bagged a Rs 277-crore road project from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

"The company has received Letter of Award from...NHAI in respect of the project viz development of 4-lane Islampur bypass of 10.31 km length...On NH-31 in the state of West Bengal under NHDP Phase-II on EPC basis," Ashoka Buildcon said in a regulatory filing. "The accepted bid value is Rs 277 crore," it said.

The company has a portfolio of over 28 public private partnership projects. It is present across nine states in the country executing several projects.

The company is also in power transmission and distribution sector with various projects in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu and Bihar.
