Asia-Pacific airports see 8.5% passenger rise

Asia-Pacific airports witnessed an 8.5 per cent increase in passenger traffic in January to June 2012, compared to the corresponding period in 2011. Patti Chau, regional director, ACI (Airports Council International) Asia-Pacific, said, “Driven by the growth in intra-regional and domestic passenger traffic, the region remains resilient to the economic uncertainty still looming in other parts of the world.”
