Asia Pacific Breweries aims to export Cannon 10000 to Singapore

Asia Pacific Breweries, which sells brands like Tiger beer and Cannon 10000, is aiming at exporting Cannon in Singapore soon.

Chetan Gupta, marketing manager - India for the company, said, “We have got a few enquiries from Singapore and we are aiming at exporting Cannon 10000 soon. Cannon is our Indian brand which we acquired a while ago. We had enquiries from Middle East as well but exports to other countries may take a while.”

The company currently has breweries in Aurangabad and Hyderabad which have a combined capacity of 1 million hectalitre per annum. “We are looking at possible mergers and acquisitions for setting up more breweries in India as demand for products pick up,” said Gupta.

 

Among packaging options, the company intends to introduce the products in cans soon.

Asia Pacific Breweries has launched its products Tiger beer and Cannon 10000 in West Bengal.

Tiger beer will be priced at Rs 35 for 330 ml and Rs 60 for 650 ml and Cannon 10000 330 ml priced at Rs 28 and 650 ml priced at Rs 48.

Acia Pacific Breweries manages a portfolio of over 40 beer brands and brand variants, with Tiger Beer and Heineken as its flagship brands.

Tiger Beer is a Singapore icon with international standing, and arguably the most-widely marketed Asian beer brand with a presence in over 60 countries. The company's portfolio has been valued at $1.225 billion by IE Singapore and Interbrand.
