Asian Paints today said its net profit rose by 15.61 per cent to Rs 206.60 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 178.69 crore crore for the same period last fiscal, Asian Paints said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 1,754.22 crore in the October-December, 2010, quarter from Rs 1,277.71 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.
Shares of Asian Paints were trading at Rs 2,624 apiece in late afternoon trade on the BSE today, down 1.39 per cent from the previous close.
