The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Assocham) has said that need for seamless interconnection, reimbursement of funds to basic operator from the USO fund, reduction in licence fees and speedy regulation of issues by Trai are the primary concerns of the telecom industry.
In a meeting with the Parliamentarians, Assocham has also identified clarity on Convergence Bill and immediate provision of access deficit charges as the other critical issues.
