Ahmedabad-based Astral Poly Technik Ltd. saw its standalone net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014 for financial year 2014-15 dip by 47.88 per cent to stand at Rs 11.11 crore. As against this, the company had earned a net profit of Rs 21.32 crore for corresponding third quarter last year.
The standalone total income of the company grew by 14.35 per cent at Rs 303.14 crore for Q3 of FY '15 as compared to Rs 265.09 crore of third quarter ended December 31, 2013. During the third quarter of FY '15, the company acquired controlling stake of 76 per cent in Resinova Chemie Ltd.
Astral manufactures CPVC plumbing systems for both residential and industrial applications, as well as ASTM solvent weld lead free PVC plumbing system.
