Astrazeneca Pharma India today reported over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 16.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 7.31 crore in the corresponding period last year, Astrazeneca said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The net sales during the quarter also increased by 22.14% to Rs 129.42 crore from Rs 105.96 crore in the year-ago period.
The shares of the company today closed 1.06% down at Rs 1,310 apiece on the BSE.
