Atul Auto Limited, the leading three wheeler maker from Rajkot, has seen significant growth in its sales and net profit in the second quarter of the current financial year.

The company’s net sales has increased by 54 per cent in the quarter. Atul Auto sales went up to Rs 82.65 crore from Rs 53.71 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. This is noticeable in light of rising cost of raw material. "The growth that was seen in the country’s automotive industry over the last several quarters has been sustained so far but the cost of manufacturing has increased rapidly at the same time,” said Vijay Kedia, director, Atul Auto Ltd.

Kedia said, “Due to increase in raw material cost there would be little pressure on margins but topline growth of 40 per cent over the last year should be maintained which would result in healthy growth in the bottomline also. Three wheelers market is very buoyant for us in India and we are exploring our strengths to increase the manufacturing capacity of Atul Auto.”As per the company officials, its production capacity expansion plans will be completed very soon.
