Audi, India's largest luxury car manufacturer, today said that it will unveil the A3 sedan at the next month's Auto Expo, which will also be subsequently launched later.
The A3 will be the smallest Audi on sale in India and will be a notch below the A4 sedan. Expected to priced competitively, the model will be pitted against Mercedes Benz's 'in-demand' A and B Class luxury hatchbacks.
Along with the A3, Audi will also unveil ‘Special Editions’ of sports utility vehicle Audi Q3, Audi Q5 and Audi Q7, sporty Audi RS 7 Sportback alongside the Le Mans 2012 winner R18 e-tron quattro.
Audi closed last year with total sales of more than 10,000 units in India, beating arch rival Mercedes-Benz to the top spot. Mercedes-Benz finished second last year with a tally of slightly over 9,000 units.
