Aurobindo gets EU nod for Domperidone

Aurobindo Pharma has been granted the certificate of suitability of monographs of European Pharmacopoeia by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM) for its active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) Domperidone and Domperidone Maleate.

This was announced in a release issued by the company to the BSE today.

Domperidone is a commonly used product in gastro-intestinal disorders like vomiting, the release added.
