Austral Coke Q1 dips 66% to Rs 15 cr

Austral Coke & Projects Limited, manufacturer of low ash metallurgical coke, today reported a fall of 66 per cent in its profit after tax (from ordinary activities) to Rs 15.38 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, over the corresponding period a year earlier.

Total income also dropped to Rs 89.70 crore in the latest quarter of current fiscal from Rs 441.49 crore of the same period last year, Austral Coke said in a filing to the BSE.     

Shares of Austral Coke were trading at Rs 387, up 0.62 per cent in afternoon trade on the BSE.
