Automartindia, the country's pioneer multi-brand used cars, primarily dealing in certified used cars promoted by Mahindra Group, HDFC and Sah & Sanghi kicked-off its Rajkot operations from Wednesday by appointing Marshal Trading Company as their authorised dealer.

Speaking on the occasion Felix Louis, Assistant vice president of Automartindia said, "We started as a dotcom company dealing in the cars, and today we are a brand name to reckon with. With no competition in sight except from the brokers, this is our 61st official outlet at Rajkot."

"We have a network of 80 plus dealers sprawling across 45 cities and have practically covered the entire country, leaving eastern India," he added.

"We are selling as many as 12,000 cars per annum with a turnover of Rs 240 crore and are targeting 20,000 cars in another two years," said Louis.

To begin with we aim to sell atleast 30 cars every month from Rajkot, he added.

Louis said, "The kind of services we provide makes even a second hand car owner feel like he is purchasing a brand new one."

We provide a truly certified product in terms of guarantee and warrantee which is our forte, he added.

Once our all India network strengthens, we are also planning television advertisement campaigns to create more awareness of our brand and services, said Louis.

Presently Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune outlets of the company are occupying the top three positions followed by Ahmedabad.

"It's the performance of Ahmedabad which has prompted us to really focus on the Gujarat market. Ahmedabad remains at number 4 and 5 position nationally in our business turnover graph," claimed Louis.

The dealers of the company are also active in Surat and Baroda and few more outlets are in the pipeline at Bardoli, which is a huge used car market, Mehsana, Jamnagar, Veraval and Bhavnagar, added Louis.
