Avon Cycles to diversify into textiles

Avon Cycles is planning to diversify into the textile sector by setting up a manufacturing facility next year.

"We will enter the textile sector next year for manufacturing knitted T-shirts and shirts," Onkar Singh Pahwa, managing director of Avon Cycles, said.

The company has already started exporting readymade garments to America on a trial basis, he added.
