The first Bahrain Air flight 2B 321 landed at 5.35 PM Ibrahim Al Hamer, Bahrain Air Managing Director, told reporters here today.
Bahrain Air flies three times weekly and plans to start daily flights from October this year.The Monday flights will depart Bahrain International Airport at 10.40 AM and arrives at Kochi International Airport at 5.30 PM, the same day,he said.
The other two flights will operate on Tuesdays and Fridays, departing Bahrain at 7 PM and arriving at Kochi in the early hours of Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2.30 AM. This service will operate three times a week for the entire summer season,he said.
Bahrain Air now serves eight destinations across the Middle East, North Africa and Indian Sub-continent, he said, adding a new destination Syria will be added this month and another to Saudi Arabia in June to make it to 10 destinations.

Bahrain Air operates a fleet of two modern Airbus 320 which will be increased to three aircraft in June 2008.'By 2009 we will have six aircraft and plans to increase it to nine by 2010,' he said.
