Bajaj Auto Q3 consolidated net at Rs 328cr

Bajaj Auto today reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 328.35 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006 when compared with Rs 253.98 crore in Q3FY06.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, net sales/income has increased to Rs 2,696.03 crore from Rs 2,080.82 crore in Q3FY06.

The company, on a stand-alone basis, posted a net profit of Rs 345.19 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as against Rs 278.99 crore in Q3FY06. Total income increased to Rs 2,729.18 crore from Rs 2,107.32 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2005.
