Bajaj Electricals today said it has bagged two orders worth Rs 215 crore from the Power Grid Corporation of India and M P Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company for power and transmission related works.
The engineering and project business unit has secured these order under the portfolio of transmission and power distribution, Bajaj Electricals said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The Rs 114 crore order is secured by the company from Power Grid Corporation of India to install transmission line. The work is to be completed in 17 months, the filing added.
The second order worth Rs 101 crore is received from M P Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company under Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojna for power distribution, it said.
Shares of Bajaj Electricals were trading at Rs 221.50 on BSE, up 6.01 from previous close.
