Net sales of Bajaj Electricals Limited in 2010-11 was higher by about 23% at Rs 2,741 crore from Rs 2,229 crore in the previous fiscal.
The profit before tax improved by 9.1% to Rs 218.9 crore as against Rs 200.6 crore in 2009-10, company Chairman and Managing Director Shekhar Bajaj said here today.
Bajaj said that during the first half of 2011-12, net sales/income from the company's operations was 16.2% higher at Rs 1,245.2 crore as against Rs 1,071.9 crore during the first half of previous year.
Bajaj Electricals Limited is a part of the Bajaj Group.
With a turnover of Rs 35,000 crore and market capitalization of Rs 68,000 crore, the group comprises 27 companies.
