Bajaj to roll out 6 new two-wheelers in FY07

Bajaj Auto is planning to roll out six new products in the two-wheeler segment in the current financial year including a high-end version of Pulsar and a "radically different" new generation ungeared scooter.

S Sridhar, vice president (marketing and sales) of Bajaj Auto, said the top-end Pulsar would be equipped with digital twin spark with fuel injection technology.

"The company will also come out with a radically different ungeared, new-generation scooter like the way we entered the market with Pulsar," he said after the launch of the entry-level bike Platina here.
 
Noting that existing ungeared scooters in the marketplace deliver only around 40 kms/litre, Sridhar said: "We will redefine (the space with superior mileage). (PTI)
