Balaji to pay 800% interim dividend

The board of directors of Balaji Telefilms, which met today, has approved an interim dividend of 800% i.e Rs 16 per share of Rs 2 each.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, the outgo due to the interim dividend will be Rs 82.43 crore.

"The record date for the payment of interim dividend will be January 6, 2005, the release said. The dividend will be paid to the shareholders on and from January 25, 2005.
