Balaji Telefilms today posted a net profit of Rs 3.38 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, compared to a net loss of Rs 14.62 crore during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 33.52 crore for the March quarter, while the same was Rs 49.41 crore during the corresponding quarter last year, Balaji Telefilms said in a filing to the BSE.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 15.19 crore for the year ended March 2010, lower than the figure of Rs 26.32 crore in the previous financial year.
Shares of Balaji Telefilms today closed at Rs 57.80 on the BSE, down 4.07 per cent from the previous close.
