BASF net up 32%
 
BASF India has posted net profit of Rs 17 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, a 32.39 per cent growth over Rs 12.84 crore posted in the previous corresponding period. Total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 178.01 crore to Rs 191.74 crore, a 7.7 per cent growth.
 
Ingersoll-Rand net at Rs 5.34 cr
 
Ingersoll-Rand (India) has posted a net profit of Rs 5.34 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, as against Rs 85 crore posted in the previous corresponding period.
 
Total income has decreased from Rs 113.82 crore to Rs 108.81 crore for the quarter under review. The board of directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs 3 per share.
 
Sundaram Brake net dips 11%
 
Sundaram Brake Linings' net profit for the second quarter of 2005-06 stood at Rs 2.47 crore, down by 10.8 per cent in relation to the net profit of Rs 2.77 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year. Net sales stood at Rs 36.18 crore, higher by 3.2 per cent over the previous year's Rs 35.04 crore.
 
In the first half of 2005-06, the company's net profit stood at Rs 4.97crore, down by 7.10 per cent in relation to the previous year's net profit of Rs 5.35 crore. Net sales stood at Rs 71.84 crore, up by 6.8 per cent as compared to last year's Rs 67.26 crore.
