Pesticides manufacturer Bayer CropScience today reported a 19.78 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 63.99 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, on increased income from sales.
The net profit of the company during the corresponding quarter last fiscal was Rs 53.42 crore, it said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Bayer CropScience's income during the July-September period of the current fiscal stood at Rs 650.73 crore vis-a-vis Rs 506.95 crore in the corresponding quarter a year-ago.
