Bharat coking coal limited (BCCL) has come out from the fold of BIFR (Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction) from August 1, 2012. The cumulative profit over the last three years has been Rs 35,00 crore.
Owing to this profit, there has been a positive growth in following the waiver of Rs 2923 crore by CIL. BCCL chairman had written to BIFR for the Miniratna status .
BCCL is poised for resolving washed coal demand in the country by implementation of long term plans, high capasity underground mines, silos nd new washaries and a committed work force.
BCCLhas also undertaken CSR activities to enhance the socio- economic condition of dwellers in the minig areas.
