BD Biosciences, a leading supplier of life sciences tools and instruments, intends to launch the advanced version of a cell analysis instrumentation device in a couple of months.
The company, a part of the US-based $4 billion BD group, will target biotech companies, research-based pharmaceutical companies as well as academic and government institutions doing basic research in life sciences for this cell analysis device.
The cost of the device will vary between $45,000 and $3,00,000 depending upon the configuration and requirement.

The company, that began its India operations in 1997, has already launched a flow cytometry instrumentation device under the brand name FASCalibur. More than 100 such devices have been sold by the company.
